Important: The integration requires Tutor LMS 3.3 or higher for full Course Builder support.
PressPrimer Quiz integrates seamlessly with Tutor LMS, a popular WordPress LMS plugin. This integration allows you to embed quizzes in your lessons with automatic completion tracking, and it’s automatically activated when Tutor LMS is detected on your WordPress site.
Adding a Quiz to a Tutor LMS Lesson
PressPrimer quizzes are added at the lesson level through the Tutor LMS Course Builder. Create your course and lessons first, then:
- Open the Course Builder for your course.
- Click Edit on the lesson you want to add a quiz to. (New lessons must be saved at least once before a quiz can be attached.)
- In the lesson editor modal, scroll down in the sidebar to find the PressPrimer Quiz section.
- Search for and select a quiz. The selection saves immediately.
- Optionally check “Require passing score to complete lesson” to control lesson completion with the quiz (see below).
To remove a quiz, click the × button next to the quiz title. Each lesson can have one PressPrimer Quiz attached.
The quiz appears below the lesson content in both standard page view and Tutor LMS Spotlight mode.
Course Access and Completion
PressPrimer quizzes work with all Tutor LMS course types, including public courses that do not require enrollment. Non-enrolled users on paid or private courses will see an enrollment prompt instead of the quiz.
Permissions
Tutor LMS instructors can create and manage their own PressPrimer quizzes. Instructors will only see quizzes they have created, while administrators can see all quizzes.
