Important: LearnPress 4.0 or later is required.
PressPrimer integrates directly with LearnPress, the LMS plugin for WordPress from ThimPress.
Adding a Quiz to a Lesson
To add a PressPrimer quiz to a LearnPress lesson:
- Create the course and associated lesson in LearnPress.
- Edit the lesson.
- In the Lesson Settings metabox, look for a PressPrimer Quiz section. Choose the course to link the quiz to in the Embed Quiz field.
- If users are required to pass the PressPrimer quiz in order to complete the lesson, choose Require quiz pass to complete lesson.
- To override the default quiz score, enter a value in Minimum Score Override.
- Click the Update button in the upper right to save your changes.
Completion Behavior
When “Require quiz pass to complete lesson” is checked, the LearnPress Complete button is hidden until the student passes the quiz. Once the student passes, the button reappears so they can click it to mark the lesson complete. If all lessons in the course are completed, the course will also be marked complete.
When the option is unchecked, the quiz is informational only and the Complete button remains available at all times.

PressPrimer quizzes work with all LearnPress course types, including open courses that do not require enrollment. Non-enrolled users on paid or private courses will not see the quiz.

Notes
- The quiz will only be embedded on lessons within the context of a course. If you preview the lesson independently, the quiz won’t appear.
- The embedded quiz will be displayed beneath any other content you add to the lesson page.
