• Added: Spaced repetition now reuses one review quiz per student instead of creating a new one every session, so review quizzes no longer pile up in your quiz list. A one-time background cleanup consolidates review quizzes left over from earlier versions while keeping every past result viewable.
• Added: A choice of spaced-repetition scheduling algorithm. The modern FSRS algorithm is now available alongside SM-2 (still the default), selectable site-wide under the Spaced Repetition settings. Existing schedules convert automatically as each question next comes up for review.
• Added: WP Fusion integration. Apply CRM tags when a student completes, passes, or fails a quiz, using site-wide defaults and optional per-quiz tags across 60+ CRMs through WP Fusion, using either the free WP Fusion Lite plugin or the paid version. Guests are tagged only when they give marketing consent.
• Added: LifterLMS quiz import. Bring your LifterLMS quizzes into PressPrimer Quiz, individually or in batches, with questions, answers, and settings mapped over, including picture-choice questions imported as image answers.

• Improved: Item analysis difficulty is now scoring-aware — the difficulty index for multiple-answer questions reflects the average proportion of points students earned, not just the rate of fully-correct answers. Questions scored under partial-credit modes now report difficulty that matches what students actually scored.
• Improved: Distractor efficiency is now subset-aware — when random distractor selection is active on a quiz, each option’s selection rate is measured against the attempts that actually displayed it. Functioning distractors are no longer wrongly flagged as dead when they were only shown to a subset of attempts.
• Added: Question-level xAPI statements include the resolved multiple-answer scoring mode, and when random distractor selection was active, the shown answer subset, so an LRS can interpret raw scores correctly.
• Added: New pressprimer_quiz_school_xapi_statement_sent action fires after each successful xAPI statement delivery, giving developers a precise hook for logging, analytics, or downstream integrations.
• Improved: LearnDash import now derives a multiple-answer scoring mode from the source ProQuiz configuration instead of silently inheriting the site default. The assigned mode is recorded in the import summary.
• Fixed: Item analysis cache invalidation now subscribes to the correct attempt-completion hook from the free plugin, so new attempts trigger cache refresh eagerly instead of relying on the lazy staleness check.
• Fixed: Item analysis cache is now invalidated when a quiz’s scoring mode changes, so a difficulty index based on the prior mode does not linger in the cache.
• Fixed: The “Purge failed only” action in the xAPI queue manager no longer removes pending statements that have not yet been attempted. Only statements actually marked as failed are deleted.
• Note: This release requires PressPrimer Quiz 2.2.0 and Educator 2.2.0 or higher. The new xAPI scoring-mode and shown-answers extensions, and the LearnDash-import scoring-mode derivation, activate only when PressPrimer Quiz 2.3.0+ is present. Every other 2.3.0 School improvement — scoring-aware item analysis on existing quizzes, subset-aware distractor efficiency, item-analysis cache invalidation, the new pressprimer_quiz_school_xapi_statement_sent action, and the failed-only purge fix — runs against 2.2.0. Cached item analysis numbers are flushed once on upgrade so the corrected math takes effect immediately — historical difficulty values may shift for quizzes that use a partial-credit scoring mode or random distractor selection.
