• Added: Question Import/Export now preserves images embedded in question stems, answer options, and feedback. Cross-site imports automatically copy referenced images into the destination site’s media library and rewrite each tag to point at the local copy.
• Added: Imported questions register ownership of their images so the free plugin’s automatic cleanup never deletes an image that another question still uses. Deleting the original question leaves the imported copy’s images intact, and vice versa.
• Improved: CSV export now substitutes a [image] placeholder in every cell where an image was present, instead of dropping the stem image silently or leaving raw HTML in answer cells. JSON and XML exports continue to preserve full image markup for lossless round-trips.
• Improved: AI distractor generation now substitutes an (image) token for images in the source question before sending content to OpenAI, so the model knows an image was part of the question without receiving image data.
• Improved: Import and Export screens now explain how images are handled in each file format.
• Improved: The Question Difficulty report’s tooltip notes that “correctness rate” counts only fully-correct answers, which will read lower for quizzes that use a partial-credit multiple-answer scoring mode. A score-aware item metric is planned for the School addon.
• Fixed: The collapsed question list in the Assignment Detail attempt modal no longer shows raw HTML when a question contains formatting or an image. Images are summarized as “[image]” and the formatted version remains available under Show Details.
