With Educator, the verification page carries one brand for the whole site. With School, it carries the brand of the organization that issued the certificate being verified. A certificate from the nursing faculty verifies in the nursing faculty’s colors with its logo; a certificate from a partner school verifies in theirs. This article covers the per-issuer settings and how they combine with the site-level ones.
Setting an Issuer’s Branding
Open the issuer from Certificates > Issuers and find the Verification branding section:
- Verification logo: shown above the verification result. Leave it empty and the issuer’s profile logo is used instead.
- Accent color: colors the result frame and the Valid heading, and the top border of the issuer’s public pages.
- Intro line: shown under the logo, above the details.
- Footer line: shown under the result.
A Live preview beside the fields renders a sample result with the same code as the public page. Save with Update Issuer.

How the Layers Combine
Branding resolves field by field, in this order: the issuer’s own value, then the site-level value from Educator’s Branding tab, then the plugin default. So a site can set one footer line and one logo for everyone and let each issuer override only its accent color, or an issuer can brand every field and ignore the site settings entirely. Empty fields simply fall through.
Which brand a certificate gets is decided by its issuer of record, fixed at award time. Certificates from site templates have no issuer and use the site-level branding.
What Stays the Same
Expired and revoked results keep their warning colors and their status wording under any accent, at every level. A branded page can never make a lapsed or withdrawn certificate look good, which is what keeps verification trustworthy no matter who issued the credential.
