White-label mode replaces PressPrimer branding with your own across the admin, at the foot of every email the suite sends, and in the document properties of every PDF it renders. Your staff see your name in the menu and on the Dashboard, your recipients see your footer, and a PDF’s properties name your organization. It works the same way as the White-Label tab in PressPrimer Quiz and Assignment Enterprise.
Turning It On
Navigate to Certificates > Settings > White-Label and turn on Enable White-Label. Fill in the sections below, watch the Branding Preview panel update as you go, and save with the page’s Save Settings button. Turning the switch off restores PressPrimer branding but keeps every setting, so you can switch back without re-entering anything.

General
- Plugin Name: replaces “PressPrimer Certificate” on the Dashboard, in page headers, the onboarding tour, the block inserter category, and the user profile section. Up to 100 characters.
- Menu Label: the top-level admin menu item. Leave it empty to keep “Certificates”. Up to 40 characters.
- Dashboard Subtitle: the welcome line under the Dashboard heading. Up to 200 characters.
- Header Color: the background of the page headers on the Dashboard, Settings, Fonts, Bulk Award, and Award Past Completions pages, with a Reset to Default.
Logos
- Menu Icon: replaces the certificate icon in the admin menu. 20 by 20 pixels, SVG or PNG.
- Dashboard Logo: replaces the PressPrimer wordmark in the Dashboard header. Without one, the plugin name shows as text.
- Page Header Mascot: replaces the mascot image on the other page headers.
- Hide header images entirely: no logo or mascot on any page header; the Dashboard shows the plugin name as text.
Light or white images read best against the dark headers.
Footer Text is plain text added as the last lines of every email the suite sends: awards, resends, expiry reminders, tests, and bulk and retroactive awards. Two related settings live elsewhere on purpose, because they are not branding: the sender name and address are on Settings > Email, and the look of the public verification page is on the Branding tab.
PDF Document
These set the document properties a reader shows for a certificate PDF:
- Document Title: a pattern with tokens. Leave it empty for the default, the certificate’s name followed by the recipient’s name. Click a token to add it:
{certificate_title},{recipient_name},{credential_id},{site_name}, and{plugin_name}. - Author and Creator: the organization and application named in the properties. The Producer field belongs to the PDF library and cannot be changed.
These apply to PDFs rendered from now on. A certificate’s PDF is rendered from its stored design each time it is downloaded, so existing certificates pick up the new properties on their next download.
Custom CSS
CSS added here is output on the plugin’s admin pages only, never on the front end. Script tags, javascript: URLs, and expression() are removed on save.
