PressPrimer Certificate – Educator is a premium add-on that adds custom fonts, multi-page certificates, bulk awarding, expiry reminder emails, a branded verification page, and social sharing to PressPrimer Certificate. This guide covers installation, license activation, and what’s added after setup.
Requirements
Before installing the Educator add-on, ensure you have:
- PressPrimer Certificate (free) installed and activated
- WordPress 6.4 or higher
- PHP 7.4 or higher
- A valid Educator add-on license
Installation
- Download the Educator add-on ZIP file from your PressPrimer account.
- In your WordPress admin, navigate to Plugins > Add New.
- Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
- Click Choose File and select the ZIP file you downloaded.
- Click Install Now.
- Once installation completes, click Activate Plugin.
Activating Your License
After activating the plugin, enter your license key to receive automatic updates and premium support.
- Navigate to Certificates > Settings.
- Click the License tab.
- Enter your license key in the provided field.
- Click Activate License.
Once activated, the license status shows as Active, along with its expiry date and how many of your activations are in use.
Troubleshooting
- If you see a message that PressPrimer Certificate is required, ensure the free plugin is installed, activated, and updated. Nothing from the add-on loads until it is.
- If menu items don’t appear after activation, try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache.
- If you encounter a white screen or PHP error, check that your server meets the minimum PHP version requirement (7.4).
- If license activation fails, double-check that the license key is entered correctly and that your site URL matches the URL on your PressPrimer account.
