Upload your organization’s fonts once and they appear in every font control in the designer and embed in your certificate PDFs. Text renders in the real font on the canvas, in the preview, and on the finished certificate, so what you design is what recipients receive.
Uploading a Font
- Navigate to Certificates > Fonts.
- Drag a TTF file onto the upload area, or click it to choose a file.
- The font appears in the list below with a preview line set in the font itself, the templates that use it, and the upload date.
Each file registers as one style. A family with regular, bold, and italic weights is three uploads, and each one appears as its own entry in the designer. Use Rename font to give each entry a clear name (like “Brand Serif Bold”) so they are easy to tell apart in the font list.

File Rules
- TrueType fonts (.ttf) up to 5 MB. This covers nearly every font sold or given away for desktop use.
- OpenType fonts (.otf) only when they contain TrueType outlines. Many OTF fonts use PostScript (CFF) outlines instead, which the PDF engine cannot embed. Those are rejected with a message asking you to convert the font to TTF. Free converters (FontForge, and several online tools) do this in seconds, and the result looks identical.
Using Fonts in the Designer
Every font control in the designer gains a Your fonts group at the top of its list. Choose one for a text element or a merge field exactly as you would a bundled font. The canvas loads the font file, so the design shows the true letterforms and spacing, and Preview renders a PDF with the font embedded.
Deleting a Font
Click Delete on a font in the list. If the font is in use, the confirmation names how many templates use it and warns that the default font will be substituted on those templates. The substitution happens the same way on the canvas and in the PDF, so nothing breaks, but the templates will look different until you assign another font.
