Branded Verification Page

The public verification page is where employers, registrars, and other outside parties check a credential. With Educator, it carries your logo, your accent color, and your own wording, so the verifier sees whose credential it is before they read a single detail.

Branding Settings

Navigate to Certificates > Settings > Branding. Four settings shape the page, and each one left empty keeps the plugin’s default for that part of the page, so you can brand as much or as little as you like:

  • Logo: shown above the verification result. Choose it from the media library with Choose logo, swap it with Change logo, or Remove it.
  • Accent color: colors the frame around the result and the Valid status. Use your brand’s primary color. Clear returns to the default.
  • Intro line: a sentence under the logo, above the details, such as “Issued and verified by our academy.”
  • Footer line: a sentence under the result, such as “Questions? Contact our records office.”

Save with the page’s Save Settings button, like every other tab.

Live Preview

The tab shows a sample verification result rendered by the same code as the public page, updated as you change settings. It is not an approximation: what you see there is what a verifier sees, including how your accent color sits against the page.

What Stays the Same

Expired and revoked results keep their warning colors no matter what accent you choose, and the status wording is fixed. That is deliberate. A verification page exists to tell the truth about a credential, and branding must never make a lapsed or withdrawn certificate look good. Everything else on the page, the details, the credential ID, the download button, behaves exactly as it does without the add-on.

One Brand per Site

Branding applies to the verification page for every certificate on the site. Organizations that issue credentials on behalf of several departments or partners, each with its own logo, will find per-issuer branding in the School add-on, which layers on top of these site-wide settings.
