PressPrimer Assignment – Enterprise is the top-tier premium add-on that adds audit logging and white-label branding to PressPrimer Assignment. This guide covers installation, license activation, and what’s added after setup.

Requirements

Before installing the Enterprise add-on, ensure you have:

• PressPrimer Assignment (free) version 2.2.0 or higher
• PressPrimer Assignment – Educator version 2.2.0 or higher
• PressPrimer Assignment – School version 2.2.0 or higher
• WordPress 6.4 or higher
• PHP 7.4 or higher
• A valid Enterprise add-on license

The Enterprise add-on requires all three sibling plugins because its audit log listens for events fired by free, Educator, and School. Without all three installed, some event categories (such as group, rubric, and AI settings events) would never be captured.

Installation

1. Download the Enterprise add-on ZIP file from your PressPrimer account.
2. In your WordPress admin, navigate to Plugins > Add New.
3. Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
4. Click Choose File and select the ZIP file you downloaded.
5. Click Install Now.
6. Once installation completes, click Activate Plugin.

Activating Your License

After activating the plugin, you’ll need to enter your license key to receive automatic updates.

1. Navigate to Assignments > Settings.
2. Click the License tab.
3. Enter your license key in the provided field.
4. Click Activate License.

Using with PressPrimer Quiz Enterprise

If PressPrimer Quiz Enterprise is also installed, both add-ons run independently with their own audit logs and branding settings. The two products share a visual design language so the audit log viewer, settings pages, and white-label configuration feel familiar if you use both.

Troubleshooting

• If you see a message that PressPrimer Assignment, Educator, or School is required, ensure all three plugins are installed, activated, and updated to version 2.0.0 or higher.
• If menu tabs don’t appear after activation, refresh the page or clear your browser cache.
• If audit events aren’t appearing, confirm that the master audit toggle is enabled under Settings > Audit Log and that the relevant event category is turned on.
